Location data

We ask for location permission only after you interact with our class-matching quiz, and only to recommend classes near you. If you decline, you can type a City, State or ZIP instead — location is never required to browse or book.

Venue and class listings show the full address of the space, so you can see where a class actually is and how far you would travel before you pay. Addresses are published on public pages, appear in search results, and link out to your map app.

If you list a space, its address is public from the moment the listing is. That is a change from our previous policy, under which a space showed only its city and state until a booking was approved. If you would rather a space were not listed publicly, remove the listing in the app.

Third-party processing

Payments and educator payouts are processed by Stripe. Live digital classes may be hosted via Zoom. These providers receive only the information necessary to deliver the service and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Contact enquiries

We do not display a public email address anywhere on MyBeautyIQ. Messages submitted through our Contact form route directly to our internal team and are used only to respond to your enquiry.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember quiz progress, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
